The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has commissioned a new ambulance service office block for the Municipal Ambulance Service officers to enhance their work to save lives. The facility position at Abrewa Nkwanta in the municipality will serve the people of Akwadum, Jumapo, Effiduase, Oyoko and its surrounding towns.
The facility fully funded from the assembly Internally Generated Fund (IGF) was constructed by SAMO TRUST Construction Company. It comes with ambulance crew common room, Directors office, resting and washes rooms. The project is part of government’s effort to improve on ambulance service delivery system in the country. According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Comfort Asante, government is determined to revive ambulance service system in the country hence the provision of 307 ambulances to each constituencies early this year. He commended all their stakeholders who contributed in diverse ways for the completion of the facility.
The Chief of Effiduase, Nana Okwowia Dwomo Baabu commended president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo led administration for the numerous infrastructure projects embarking on throughout the country. He called on all citizens to play their role to support government to move the nation forward.
