BECE BEGINS IN THE NEW JUABEN NORTH MUNICIPALITY

One thousand two   hundred and thirty- nine   (1239) Candidates  from forty-three (43)    Basic schools   in the New Juaben North Municipality commenced  this year’s Basic Education certificate   Examination [BECE].

The candidates were from (26) public basic schools and 17 private basic schools made up of 593 males and 646 females sat for the Examination.

Some of the participating schools were Effiduase Methodist JHS A&B, Effiduase Presby JHS A, Solomon JHS, Asokore Salvation Army JHS, Frihands School, God is Great International, Asokore SDA DEMO JHS, Akwadum M/A JHS A&B, Oyoko Methodist JHS, Suhyen M/A JHS among others.

An entourage led by the Member of Parliament for New Juaben North Constituency, Hon. Nana Osei Agyei, Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Samuel Adongo, the Municipal Education Director, Madam Hilda Amegatcher, the Information Officer, Benjamin Obeng Asiedu and some Education Officials toured all the four exams center’s within the Municipality.

The Member of Parliament encourage the candidates to be calm and take away fear or anxiety and rather focused on what is ahead of them.

The Municipal Chief Executive encouraged them to eschew any fear but face the exams with dedication and commitment, to enable them both parents and Government proud.

The Member of Parliament and the Municipal Chief Executive pledged to support (30) students who will perform exceptionally well in the exams.

The New Juaben North Municipal Education Director, encouraged the students to be confident and not entertain fear, since they are the future leaders of this country and their journey to greatness and a successful life begins now, he stressed.
