BECE BEGINS IN THE NEW JUABEN NORTH MUNICIPALITY.

One Thousand Two Hundred and Twelve (1212) Candidates from 103 basic schools in the New Juaben North District on Monday commenced this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The candidates from 61 public and 45 private schools respectively, made up of 552 males and 660 females sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.

An entourage led by the Municipal Chief Executive; Honourable Comfort Asante, who toured some of the exams centers within the Municipality, advised the BECE candidates to stick to their books in order for them to achieve academic excellence. She said they should not just answer any question but rather read the question thoroughly before answering. The MCE urged them to answer what the question demands but not what they think will be the answer.
The MCE encouraged them to eschew any fear and face the exams with dedication and commitment, so as to see their dreams come through to make their parents and government proud. She explained that, before they can be enrolled unto the President’s vision of Free SHS policy, it behooves on them to justify their inclusion through the BECE exams.

According to Honourable Comfort Asante, the future of this country depends on them therefore they should do away with any examination malpractices which will jeopardize their future. She also advised them to put on their nose mask and observe all the health protocols.

The Municipal Director for Education, Madam Beverly Bartels encouraged the students to be confident and not entertaining fear “You are the future leaders of this country and your journey to greatness and a successful life begins now so make the most of it,” She stressed.

The Municipal Chief Executive; Honourable Comfort Asante toured the various centers with the Municipal Education Director, the Municipal Information Officer and some Education Officials.
