CAPACITY BUILDING FOR NJNMA STAFF

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has organized a one day workshop training for all Assembly Staff, as part of institutional strengthening and capacity building.

The purpose of the training is to sharpen the skills of the Assembly’s Staff and equip them with knowledge on Strategic Management of client service unit in the Local Government Service in terms of Client Service Management Act 2016, Client Management Systems and Client Service Charter.

 

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Edward Asante Antwi in his address asked the participants to take the training very seriously to enrich their knowledge in the  Client Service Operational manual  to enhance their performance of handling visitors of  the Assembly.

One of the facilitators, Mr. Cyril D.Xatse Dzinyanu urged the Staff of the assembly to take advantage of the training to enhance their knowledge with the requisite skills in handling clients who visit the Assembly for various activities.

One hundred and sixty four (164) Assembly Staff were taken through the Client Service Charter, Functions of Clients Service officers, responsibilities of the Local Government Service and their challenges.

Mr. Alexander Gasu, another facilitator, took participants through practicalities of receiving clients of the Assembly and how to manage them effectively to prevent the spread of false information concerning the Assembly and to improve on the productivity of the Assembly.
