The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly in collaboration with Clinton and Bamba Consult has organized a two (2) day Capacity Building training programme at the Assembly Hall. The training was to build the competencies of staff in the local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936 and the client service charter in order to perform duties more effectively and efficiently).
As it had been the norms and process of the Local Government system, Members of Staffs after a successful election are mandated to undertake a capacity building training to orient their skills and ensure better service delivery to their respective Municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.Comfort Asante, in a welcoming address urged staff members to avail themselves for this orientation programme especially the new Ones.
Madam. Comfort Asante, added that due to the COVID 19 a lot of programs scheduled for the year were postponed including this program until it was finally successful. She went on to say that she is hoping this training will also have a positive impact on the assembly in terms of its revenue generation and decision making at the General Assembly.
Hon.Comfort Asante, Hinted that there will be more training programs for Staff and further wished them all the best. The staff had the opportunity to ask questions and made suggestions which was addressed accordingly.
