A paperless operations systems workshop led by a team from Head of Local Government Service has been given to the staffs of the Assembly.
In a welcome address by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo, acknowledged the presence of the participants at the training and urged them to be actively involved in the training as it would help increase in the day-to-day communications of the Assembly. He stressed that the world today is rapidly changing into digitalize system of operation in every aspect of life including our workplaces.
In a brief address,the representative from the Head of Local Government Service, Mr. Adjei Bernard explained the importance of the switch from the traditional mode of operation in our workplaces to digital operations to the sixty participants
“This will lessen the lengthy processes of channeling information within the Assembly”,he stressed.
The Technical Consultant , Justice Makafui successfully took participants through the use of the application which they found very insightful at the end of the workshop.
Present at the workshop were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi, Municipal Planning Officer, Madam Florence Nartey, Information Officer, Mr. Benjamin Obeng Asiedu and the Municipal Human Resource Officer, Madam Grace Ohene Amponsah.
