Eleven institutions in the New Juaben North Municipality have received sixty-nine (69) boxes of streetlights from the Assembly on Tuesday 1st November, 2022.
The schools includes, six (6) senior highs and technical school, two(2) tertiary schools as well as the St. Joseph’s Hospital and the municipal health directorate.
The coordinating director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi in his welcome address indicates the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring security at the various institutions and the municipality at large.
He however clarified beneficiaries to mount the streetlights at vantage points to help fight crime within the whole municipality.
The Municipal chief Executive Hon. Comfort Asante, in her address assured institutions of her outfit zeal to ensure the national cake is well distributed to benefit everyone.
She urge to make sure the whole municipality improve on its lightening system so as to help deal with crime and related issues.
Mr. Dziwonu of Oyoko Methodist SHS (OMESS) stood on behalf of the institutions and expressed their gratitude to the Assembly for the donation and assured to mount the streetlights at vantage areas as required of them.
