Number of Births and Deaths Registered
The Birth and Death Department of the Assembly collected and properly recorded vital information on deaths and births that occurred within the Municipality in the Second Quarter. Consequently, burial permits and infant birth certificates were issued to family members of the deceased and the newborns.
The public was educated on the importance of birth and death registrations throughout the First Quarter. A total of two hundred and eighty-two (282) births were recorded by the Birth and Death Department during the Quarter under review which includes One hundred and forty (140) males and one hundred and forty-two (142) females. Ninety -nine (99) deaths were recorded in the quarter.
