A speech was delivered on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive of the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly, Hon Comfort Asante, by Miss Matilda Akuffo Owusu, she urged all stakeholders in education sector and the Governing Boards to work together with the Government in financing education for positive outcomes.

She believed, financing of education involves massive investments, especially at the pre-tertiary level where children are given the foundation to build upon in their academic journey. However, the issue of financing must be of interest to all of us as people, and not only the Government.

It is evident that almost all the advanced countries in the world have higher literacy rates and this accounts for their level of development.

It is for this reason that government places high priority on education, to deliver its goals and objectives, and enhance our development agenda.
