PWDS RECEIVED TRAINING AT NEW JUABEN NORTH MUNICIPALITY

The Social Welfare Department in the New Juaben North Municipality have organized a one day training program for Fifty (50)   People With Disability (PWDs) members on bathing soaps, Shower gel and Softener  at Oyoko Hackman Social  Community Center.

The Municipal Social Welfare Director, Madam Sally Mahama said, it was important as young ones especially as women and men to have their own handiwork. In the sense that, it helps to reduce unemployment and also the rate at which the youth involves themselves in unscrupulous activities in the municipality. She expressed her happy to see young people excited to learn new things and trying to make their lives better.

Madam Sally  Mahama said , the government had a keen interest in the People with Disability, trying to start their own small businesses and that, the government is putting things in place to come to them with the necessary aid in  the shortest possible time. She applauded them again for their beautiful creations and said that the Assembly was ready to give them the necessary support as when it’s needed.

The treasure for PWDS in the municipality, Mr. Richard Darko thanked the Assembly and the MCE for assisting them with this knowledge to create Self-employment. They promised to put all that they had learnt to good use to help eradicate unemployment in the municipality.
