The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly is working tirelessly to ensure that it provides the necessary support to the affected communities.
The Municipal Chief Executive and her team have visited the affected towns to get firsthand information and commiserate with the affected people. The Assembly would be sending relief items like blankets, mattresses, mosquito nets, rice, oil and sugar to support the people. Also, the Assembly would carry out chlorination of the wells, as well as dislodging water in wells at the affected communities to ensure that there is no outbreak of health issue. Also, the Assembly has tasked the information service department, National commission for civic Education and the Health Directorate to carry out extensive public education on the need for the people to stay safe and report on any pandemic which may arise.
