SOD CUTING FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SIX UNITS CLASS ROOM BLOCK FOR ASIKASU COMMUNITY BASIC SCHOOL

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo, has cut sod for the commencement of Six Unit classroom block with an Office for the Asikasu Community Basic School in the New Juaben North Municipality.

Hon.Samuel Adongo, said  the construction of the Six  unit  classroom block is a vital conducive learning for the school children and these facility will  also help improve the educational infrastructure in the municipality and increase the number of enrollments and create a sound environment to facilitate effective teaching and learning in the community.

He emphasized that education is a key tool to every person and the development of the nation, hence, her commitment is to ensure the provision of quality education and accessible education to the constituency. As such, provision of education at the basic and secondary level will continue to be a topmost priority.

The Dadematse, Samuel Klomor   was very delighted about the project, saying that it would give access to numerous children who wish to enroll in the school but could not due to the lack of facility.

He plead with the Assembly to name the school after his successor, the late Dadematse Dautey Padi Joseph.

He promised the MCE of his administrations continuous support of the facility to enhance teaching and learning in the school.
