The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon Seth Kwame Acheampong, has commended management and staff of the SDA College of Education in the New Juaben North Municipality, Asokore, for developing the school to its current status and pledged his support to make it more attractive for learning when he pay a working visit to the school.
He later addresses the students and urged them to learn hard and abreast themselves with the new basic education curriculum. He was accompanied by the New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Comfort Asante.
The Principal of the SDA College of Education, Prof. William Kofi Koomson has commended the government and the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly for tarring all the school campus roads which has enhance fast vehicular and human movement in the school.
That aside, he also praised Government for paying their book and research allowances frequently.
Prof. Koomson made this statement when the Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong visited the school to assess their level of work done.
According to him, all the projects undertaken in the school was funded through their internally generated Fund. He said every fund from the central Government to the school was used for its intended purpose adding that the college is now ranked among the best education colleges in the Country. He further disclosed that the school is now into filtered water processing business and bakery to fetch more income for the school. Prof. Koomson highlighted on some of his achievements since he took over administration of the school.
