The Information Services Department (ISD) was tasked to educate citizenry with in the Municipality about temporal permit for containers, kiosks, billboard, and signboard.
This exercise was done to educate and to sensitize the general public on the need to acquire temporal permit before putting up containers, kiosks, billboard and signboard within the New Juaben North Municipality.
The public was educated on the importance of adhering to the information given to avoid any disappointment due to Assembly tasks force coming around after the announcement to check individual owners of containers, kiosk, billboard and signboard temporal permit.
The information Van carried out this exercise using five (5) days for this outreach. The van covered all the communities within the Municipality which include Effiduase(Ogua,Sukuumu,Adumasa,Damang),Asokore(Abrodua,Ntano,Fofie,Pipeline,Asokore-kuma,Debiasem),Akwadum(market and zongo),Asikasu No.1 and No.1,Suhyen(market,Mpeam),Jumapo(market,zongo,Yeene)and Oyoko(Adaniagya,Asuogya).
Before the public announcement, most of the citizenry thought that there was no need to come for container temporal permit.
The exercise ended successfully with every question answered satisfactorily.
