SIXTEEN ARTISANS RECEIVE START UP KITS

The Ghana Enterprise Agency has supported 16 Artisans, under the “Bizbox project”, in collaboration with Master card foundation.
Presenting the items, The Municipal Chief Executive,Hon. Samuel Adongo urged beneficiaries to use the tools and other equipments judiciously for its purposes so that they would become economically empowered and financially independent in their locality.
The MCE emphasized that such contributions goes a long way to add to the socio-economic quota and development of their communities.
“This presentation will enhance your standard of living”,he stressed.
The items includes four Hairdryers,one make up tool,six sewing machines,2 cutting tilling machines and 3 set of fabrication tools.
The head of the Ghana Enterprise Agency, Madam Morrison Asieduah said monitoring will continue as the work demands to make sure the equipment and the tools received today will be used for the purposes for which they were requested to enable Government’s intentions for supporting you materialized. She cautioned that anyone found selling the items will face the law.
Madam Abigail Amoako, thanked the Government and the MCE for their assistance and pledge to use the tools judiciously.
The beneficiaries were drawn from Akwadum, Oyoko, Suhyen, Asokore, and Effiduase.
