The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North Municipal Assembly, Hon.Samuel Adongo has commissioned two (2) unit KG classroom block and staff common room for the Asokore Salvation basic school in the Municipality.
Prior to the commissioning, the MCE, reiterated that the school facility was part of efforts by the Assembly to make sure that leaners get a very good environment for studies.
He stressed that, the Government has spent a lot of money in projecting education in the country and therefore called on parents to be grateful to the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
The Municipal Education Director, Madam Hilda Amegatcher expressed her gratitude to the MCE and the Assembly for completing the project to enhance quality education in the Municipality.
She urged the stakeholders of the school to cultivate the habit of maintenance culture to prolong the lifespan of the facility, whiles teachers and pupils ensure proper sanitation on its surroundings since the infrastructure has provided a suitable environment for teaching and learning.
The Head teacher expressed her profound gratitude to the Assembly and the Government for their kind gesture.
Present was the Municipal coordinating Director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi, Municipal Finance Officer, Mr. William Ompong, Municipal budget Officer, Mr. Joseph Attah Baah and Information Officer, Benjamin Obeng Asiedu.
