The Head of Service (local Government), Professor Lord Mensah together with his Chief Director, Mrs. Felicia Dapaah, Director of Human Resource, Miss Stella Panwum and Head of Public Affairs Unit, Mrs. Doris Adjetey Adjei and the Eastern Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Ebenezer Amoah, paid a working visit to New Juaben North Municipal Assembly.
The visit was to share his vision, solicit the staff’s support, and also find out what challenges they had to find best ways to solve them.
In his address, he said the Assembly can only thrive on data collection which is very important when making decisions on employment, postings and sharing of Resources, these will eliminate the issues of nepotism and favoritism in the Service.
He said, we can achieve our mandate by realizing that local Governance is all about serving the people. The Head of Service, Professor Lord Mensah stressed that should the Assembly decide to give training to the sellers within the Municipality to improve their business, it can go a long way to enhance their business making it easy for them to fulfil their tax obligations.
He however cautioned Staff about absenteeism and coming to work late. He advised Staffs to desist from changing their date of birth which causes financial lost to the State. Staffs are paid to work for eight (

He stressed that the Municipal Chief Executive must work hand in hand with the Coordinating Director and the various Heads of Departments by organizing regular capacity training to aid them in delivering effective and efficient results.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo welcomed the team and thanked them for their time. He however assured the team of the Assembly’s commitment to see to the concerns raised.
Present was officials from the Regional Coordinating Council and the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly Coordinating Director.
