NJNMA CUTS SOD FOR CHPS COMPOUND AT ASOKORE( ABRODUA )

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has cut sod to commence officially the construction of a community based health planning services (CHPS) at Asokore Abrodua.
The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, in an address whiles cutting the sod, expressed her gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Nananom, the Catholic Church and the people of Asokore for their support.
She noted that the facility would significantly improve access to primary healthcare services and reduce the burden on nearby Health Centers.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo, expressed his sincere appreciation to all stakeholders for their support and presence at the ceremony.
He also thanked the Catholic Bishop for his generosity of releasing a land for the CHPS Compound, describing it as a vital contribution to the development of the community.
He indicated that measures would be put in place to construct a wall to safeguard the property.
He assured residents that the Municipal Assembly would closely monitor the Contractor to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe and to the required standard.
The Asokore Queen mother, Nana Amah Awi II also thanked the Government and the Assembly for such a facility in Abrodua.
Present was the New Juaben North Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Anthony Kwanin, Deputy Municipal Engineer, Mr. Emmanuel Awusi and the Municipal Physical planning Officer and Honourable Assembly Members.
