NJNMA CUTS SOD FOR DEVELOPTMENTAL PROJECTS

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly cuts sod in five communities in the Municipality for the construction of developmental projects concerning areas of health, education and sanitation.
Communities considered after critical deliberations are Kofikrom, Oyoko, Asokore, Effiduase (Ntanoso) and Mpaem No.2.
Kofikrom will get an ultra-modern Chip compound, while Oyoko Methodist JHS school building which was abandoned by the previous Government will be completed to end the shifting education system at Oyoko.
The Effiduase (Ntanoso) community also gets an ultra-modern one storey- building school block to bridge the distance between the community and a school that is nowhere close by.
Asokore community also received ultra-modern chip compound at Abronuah, a bridge at Apoponsu River to end the perennial flooding in the area and a new school block at SDA basic school to decongest the over populated pupils in the school.
The Mpeam No 2 community will get ultra-modern chip compound and one storey six (6) classroom block.
Again, the Effiduase community center has been given to a contractor to renovate.
The New Juaben North Municipal chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo, said the projects are in line with the Government’s resetting agenda to enhance development in the country. He said the projects mentioned above will be completed within six months, hence, he cautions the contractors to finish within the said time limit.
He also pleaded with the indigenes to assist in any way they can to help complete the task on time.
The Municipal Education director, Madam Hilda Amegatcher commended the Assembly for the initiative and assembly of her support to help complete all the said projects.
The chief for Oyoko and the AdontenHene of New Juaben traditional area thanked the Government and the Assembly on behalf of the communities for their readiness to ensure the socioeconomic growth of the communities.
