SOD CUTTING CEREMONY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TWENTY SEATER MODEN WATER CLOSET TOILET FACILITY AT EFFIDUASE ADUMASA.

A SOD cutting ceremony has been performed and officially launched the commencement of construction of a twenty seater modern water closet toilet facility.

The project which was funded by the French Government, through Forum des Organisations Internationals des solidarite Issues des Migrations (FORIM) and Agence Francaise de Developpment (AFD) France, an NGO based in France and spear headed by the Mawerehene of Effiduase Traditional Area, is estimated at € 37,062.

The project, which is expected to last for twelve months and will commence in April 2019 and to be completed by April 2020, was officially handed over to the Regional Engineer and the contractor of the project.

The Municipal Coordinating Director on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North Assembly, Mr. Hayford Kyere, thanked the French Non-Governmental Organization, the Chief and his Elders for the wonderful project and edge the citizenry to be patriotic and emulate this kind gesture. The Coordinating Director, Mr. Kyere took the opportunity to encourage the managers and the users of the facility to see it as a property of the community and therefore maintainace culture must be practiced.

Chief of Effiduase and Nifa Hene of New Juaben Traditional Area, Nana Okoaweah  Dwomoh Baabu II, ceased the opportunity to praise the people of Effiduase by supporting him since his ascension.

He also thanked the Mawere Hene for his initiative to have the Effiduase community at heart for getting this beautiful edifice for the community.
