The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive , Hon. Samuel Adongo has asked the staff of the National Disaster Management Organization ( NADMO) to refrain from engaging in partisan politics in the discharge of their duties.
The MCE stressed that staff must stick to their core mandates of coordinating resources, building community capacity and implement projects aimed at disaster risk reduction to enable them improve livelihood in the Municipality.
He made this known at a durbar organized by NADMO to familiarize with the new Regional and Municipal Directors and also to bid the former Municipal Director, Mr Helbert Danso farewell.
Hon. Adongo stressed that the Assembly will support NADMO in terms of relief items to enable them cushion citizens who are eligible after a disaster.
The Regional NADMO Director, Mr Cudjoe Adukpo urged his staff to work hard to minimize both human and natural disasters. He asked that they intensify their education to the citizenry to enable them feel their presence in their various stations.
A citation was presented to Mr. Helbert Danso by his staff appreciating him for his dedication and commitment towards work during his tenure in office.
