The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive,Hon. Samuel Adongo joined Chiefs,Elders and the citizenry in the celebration of Akwasidea in the various communities in the Municipality.
The meeting was part of Government’s policy of bringing local governance to the doorstep of the citizenry.
The MCE, Hon. Samuel Adongo in his address showcased the numerous projects undertaken by the Assembly and the ones that were yet to be completed. He stressed that, despite the challenges of the Assembly, He is willing to set the Municipality on a good developmental ladder.
He urged everyone that his doors are opened for any form of complaints and suggestions when the need be.
He stressed that new measures are being put in place to build an ultra-modern Market for New Juaben North Municipality to aid trading in the Municipality.
The MCE also made mention of the need to have a Cocoa processing plant and pleaded with the Traditional Authorities for a land for the commencement of the project.
He again expressed the need to work on all internal roads.On the issue stray animals, the MCE assured them to work hand in hand with the Municipal Environmental Officer to bring the situation under control.
The Traditional Authorities from Effiduase, Asokore, Oyoko, Jumapo and Suhyen thanked the MCE and the Assembly for their presence.
