The monitoring of beneficiaries of Disability fund for the year 2022 was undertaken during the fourth quarter 2023. As per the Guidelines for the Disbursement and Management of the District Assembly Common Fund Allocation to Persons with Disability (2010), the NCPD, GFD Committee, District Assembly and Department of Social Welfare and Community Development are require to monitor the disbursement and utilization of the fund.
For this reason, the department together with other stakeholders monitored thirty (30) persons with disability that benefited during the 2022 disbursement of the Disability fund, to ascertain whether the fund is been utilized for the intended purpose for which they applied for.
