The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Comfort Asante with the Municipal Education Director, Madam Bervely Bathels has visited some schools in the District to mark “My First Day At School” programme.
The Municipal Chief Executive welcomed the fresh students to school and urged them to heed to their teachers and parents advice to help them become great people in the Country.
She acknowledged and cherished the efforts of the teachers and urged them to continue working hard for mother Ghana.
She also advised the children to be punctual and also take their academic work seriously.
The Municipal Education Director, Madam Beverly Bathels educates the student on COVID-19 and the need to adhere to the preventive directives put in place at the school.
Teachers in the various schools are doing their best to make sure that students wear their nose mask always and also make sure students do not keep the nose masks in their pockets.
Madam Comfort Asante gave out pencils, crayons, erasers, sharpener, books, drinks and biscuits to all schools she visited.
She also gave out 200 pieces of uniforms to Akwadum M/A KG and also promised other schools a set of uniforms in her next visit.
