The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has held its third ordinary meeting of the first session of the third Assembly at the Assembly hall.
The Municipal Chief Executive, the Municipal coordinating Director, chiefs, the Presiding Member, Assembly Members and heads of departments were all present at the meeting.
In the welcome address the Hon. Presiding Member for the Municipal Assembly, Ishmael Afram Owusu, entreated everyone at the meeting to contribute their ideas to help accelerate the development of the Assembly and Municipality.
The Hon. Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Edward Asante Antwi started his speech by welcoming everyone to the meeting and continued to brief the house on the current situation of the Assembly. He said, as at 30th November, 2024, the IGF revenue performance stood at One Million, Five Hundred and Thirty-two Thousand, Eight Hundred and Eight- One Ghana Cedis and Three Pesewas (GH₵1,532,881.03) as against an Annual Budget of One Million, Seven Hundred and Seventy-two, Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH₵1,772,150.00). This constitutes Eighty-Six point six percent (86.6%) performance.
He said, officially, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo have commissioned the New Juaben North Municipal Hospital at Jumapo
He said this facility is not only aims to improve access to quality healthcare for our Residents but also serves as a pivotal step in the Government commitment to ensuring that every Citizen has access to comprehensive healthcare services.
Hon. Edward Asante Antwi on his address on the conduct of the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections on 7th December,2024 ,said the event marked by a remarkable demonstration of democracy, reflecting the commitments of Ghanaians to uphold the principles of free ,fair and transparent electoral processes.
He therefore congratulate the Electoral commission for their meticulous planning and execution of the electoral process.
