The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has organized a two day workshop training for all staffs, as part of institutional strengthening and capacity building.
The purpose of the training is to sharpen the skills of employees in Report writing, Minutes writing, Records Management as well as build their capacity in office management and knowledge on Labour laws and dynamics of human Resources management as well as training on the local government protocols for HODs/HODS for effective service Delivery.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Comfort Asante in her address asked the participants to take the training very seriously to enrich their knowledge in the skill writing and Reports on minutes as well as to know their scheme of work.
The lead consultant, Mr. Kenneth Osman urged the staff to grab this opportunity to enhance their knowledge with the requisite skills in writing Reports and minutes which will help the Assembly in terms of assessing the Assembly District Performance Assessment tool by the Local Government Acts.
On the first day, 83 staffs of the Assembly were taken through the procedure involved in writing Reports, Minutes and Records management.
The second day, 13 Heads of Department/Units was also taken through Local Government Governance and Service Delivery Standards.
Presents were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Alhaji Amadu Tijani, Municipal Finance Officer, Mr. Alhaji Muntala Alhassan, and the Human Resource Officer, Mrs. Grace Ohene Amponsah.
