The Municipal chief Executive for New Juaben North Assembly ,Hon.Comfort Asante, joined the Eastern Regional Minister,Hon.Seth Kwame Acheampong,madam Lisa Hao,chairperson for TIAST Group,Mr David Tai,CEO of TIAST Group,Dr.Afua Asabea Asare,CEO of Ghana Export promotion Authourity,Regional Agric Director,Mr Henry Kobina Crentsil Jnr and other dignitaries at Eastern Regional Agric-business Investors conference and Exhibition(ERAICE) under the theme: “Achieving Agricultural Industrialization through Eastern commodity satellite Market” for the second Eastern commodity satellite market Agenda which started in 2019.
The Torchbearers’ International Agricultural Science and Technology (TIAST) is an international company originating from China to extend its services to Africa especially Ghana.
They are expect in adding value to the Agricultural value chain and also promoting the worth of the Agricultural industry in all African countries through industrialization.
The Eastern Regional Minister said, the region has waged an “operation halt” and it is ensuring that where there are cash crops that bring revenue to this country they protect them by using state machinery.
He believes that agriculture is the only sector where unskilled personnel can be found contributing their quota effectively to the growth of our economy.
