The President of Ghana, his Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has performed a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of multipurpose hall and hostel at the SDA College of Education, marking the official commencement of the project.
The initiative forms part of efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance teaching and learning conditions within the institution.
The proposed facilities are expected to provide accommodation for students and create a suitable space for academic and social activities.
This development will help address challenges related to inadequate infrastructure and support the growing student population.
Speaking at the ceremony, the President emphasized that the Government is commitmented to invest in education and ensure that institutions are well-equipped to deliver quality training.
He noted that the project would contribute significantly to the development of the college and the nation at large.
The Management of the college and Students expressed their appreciation for the intervention, describing it as timely and beneficial.
The project is expected to boost academic activities and improve student welfare upon completion.
