The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Adongo paid a visit to Jumapo after last night’s downpour which rendered some citizens homeless and also to commiserate with the affected persons.
Hundreds of residents at Jumapo fled their homes after several hours of downpour ripping off their roofing destroying thousands of properties in the process and preventing kids from going to School.
Hon. Adongo assured them, that the Assembly will continue to play its role effectively in this unfortunate crises by collaborating with Nadmo to send relief items to the affected persons.
The affected persons lost electrical gadgets, household items and businesses after last night’s devastating rainfall.
The team from the Assembly led by Hon. Samuel Adongo includes; The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi, Municipal Director of NADMO, Mr. Helbert Danso, the Municipal Information Officer and other NADMO Officers during its monitoring to see the extent of the damage caused.
