REPORT ON PLANNING & COORDINATION MEETINGS HELD – 2022

NEW JUABEN NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY – DEPT. OF AGRICULTURE

These meetings were held between the Director and all unit heads of the department. The first one was in 9^th March 2022 at the Director’s office and it was to map out strategies for the execution of the 2022 planned activities of the work plan of the department.

Various activities concerning the various sub sectors of the Agric department were ceded out to the unit heads after the implementation process has been thoroughly discussed.

Unit heads were asked to ensure the deep involvement of the resident AEA at the various operational areas where an activity is to be carried out.

All unit heads were once again reminded of the need to put in their extreme efforts to ensure prompt and timely implementation of the activities.

They were also reminded to make time for monitoring and evaluation with the Director.

Concern with respect to the work to be carried out were brought to the fore and all were resolved.

The second one came off just before the last monitoring session of the year thus 27^th October 2022.

Lessons learnt during 1^st – 3^rd quarter monitoring were discussed and solutions checked for incorporation of the end of year monitoring and all heads were tasked to put their hands on desk to produce a better end of year report.
